EVALITA provides a shared framework for the evaluation of different systems and approaches on separate tasks, all for Italian. For the 2016 edition we will evaluate the following tasks:

• FactA – Event Factuality Annotation
• NEEL-IT – Named Entity rEcognition and Linking in Italian Tweets
• PoSTWITA – POS tagging for Italian Social Media Texts
• QA­4FAQ – Question Answering for Frequently Asked Questions
• SENTIPOLC – SENTIment POLarity Classification

In addition, we launch a new challenge organized by IBM Italy:

• IBM Watson Services Challenge
